Bryan and Tiffany are Pedaling for the Kids!!
Tiffany and I are riding hard as we prepare for The Mary Bridge Courage 2018. All the work will be worth it when we ride the 144 miles on August 25 and 26th to support the goal of ending Child Abuse through Prevention and Intervention and providing services to Our Community’s Most Venerable Children who are suffering from Childhood Injury, Illness and Special Needs. Yes, we are a bit intimidated by the challenge as the merciless route pushed us to our limits last year, but we are looking forward to the challenge and excited about the awesome Blessing that this year's Courage will bring by saving lives, changing lives and improving the lives of children in our community.
This will be the 6th year that Tiffany and I ride the Courage together and we can not wait. Last year we were able to generate over $7,000 to help the kids of our community between the donations from our sponsors and our personal donations. In total the event raised over $350,000 to help the kids.
Last year's ride presented some new physical challenges to us as it was a new route in which we had to ride the route two days instead of the previous three days completing our fisrt Century (100 miles in one day) and with the unfamiliar route, there were unexpected challenges around each corner. What a great feat to accomplish as a couple and a great experience to push our bodies harder than we ever expected for a cause much bigger than ourselves.
Please join us this year by making a donation to support this tremendous effort that will bring BIG HELP to the most venerable children of our community. Each year the funds we raise (with the help of family and friends) are made up of donations large and small, so please don't hesitate to make small or large donations. 100% of the funds raised go to the cause as sponsors cover the cost of the event so each penny and each dollar will go to benefit the children and all will be greatly appreciated.
