Come Walk With Me cause

Pierce County’s pinkest walk is back on Saturday, October 5, in honor of those who are going through a breast cancer diagnosis or treatment, in celebration of those who have fought cancer and won and in remembrance of those we lost too soon. This is the kickoff to our month-long fundraising efforts, where donor dollars benefit breast health programs and services at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital and Good Samaritan Cancer Resource Center.

• Patient and care partner navigation services with referrals and assistance for transportation, food and other practical needs
• Virtual cancer support group
• Virtual wig program with consultations, trims and alterations

Come Walk With Me funds will support breast cancer patients seeking treatment through MultiCare and at Good Samaritan, as well as help ensure the cancer resource center can serve patients in treatment as comprehensively as possible.

This year’s walk & community events
Join us in downtown Sumner on Saturday, October 5, and raise funds throughout October 31, 2024, to champion the cause. Click the “Community Events” tab for more ways to participate. You can also engage with our Come Walk With Me community virtually on Facebook.

Registration fees:

• Early Bird Registration, Ages 13+: $25 (June 17 - August 19 COB)
• General Registration, Ages 13+: $30 (Starting August 20)
• Survivor/Patient Registration, Ages 13+: $15
• Youth Registration, Ages 5 - 12: $10
• Child Registration, Ages 4 and Under: Free (shirt isn't included)

All walkers who register by Friday, September 6, will receive a Come Walk With Me commemorative shirt that can be worn in support of critical breast health programs and services. Please note, if registration occurs after that date, we can't guarantee a shirt.

Come Ride With Me
Calling all motorcycle enthusiasts! Join us on Saturday, October 5, at Captain Jack's for their annual Come Ride With Me Poker Run, which includes a 21+ party with silent auction and games.

Last year, more than 140 motorcycles led our Come Walk With Me walkers down Main Street on their way to the poker run.
