Proud to Represent SimpliFi in MultiCare's Courage Ride in the Mountains of WA

Hi Friends and Family,
Most of you know that for work I interact with healthcare systems and that one of my clients, MultiCare, is based in Tacoma, Washington. Last year, I learned that the children's hospital in this health system has a bike-ride called "Courage" where over 300 people come together to raise money for child abuse prevention and support.
What the children's hospital is doing there is amazing, and heart breaking, at the same time. Last year they saw 610 kids who were abused or witnessed something really traumatic and 450 of those kids were given on-going access to special clinicians or advocacy support, compared to just 266 the year prior.
Tragically, much of what the children's hospital does through their child advocacy center does not get reimbursed by insurance. This is why the Courage ride exists: to raise funds in order to support the work the children's hospital is doing with kids who are scared, alone, and in need of expert care and support.
I am going to travel to Washington this August to take part in the Courage ride and raise money for this cause. While I am not accustomed to asking others to donate to causes, I stand fully behind this because 100% of your giving goes directly to helping these kids, and 0% goes to my ride or the event. I love that MultiCare set it up this way.
Please consider donating $1 a mile, $0.50 a mile, $0.25 a mile, or another amount of your choosing, as I ride 100 miles to help MultiCare meet the needs of vulnerable kids in their community.
Sincerely,
James Quick
