Please join us for Come Walk With Me this October, and help our team support those going through a breast cancer diagnosis or treatment, honor those who have fought breast cancer and won, and remember those who we lost too soon. 

Join Team Waynes - Saturday October 5th, Starting Point at the Old Cannery

Event schedule

  • 7:30am - Registration and T-shirt pick up tents open 
  • 7:30am - Vendor Village and coffee carts/food trucks open, "Let's Rock" art project begins 
  • 8:15am - Breast cancer survivor group photo in front of stage
  • 8:20am - Program begins 
  • 8:30am - Road closures are enforced
  • 8:45am - Free Kids' Dash begins (for kids 10 and under)
  • 8:55am - Come Ride With Me participants ready to begin ride
  • 9am - Walk begins
  • 10:30am - Raffle prizes announced (Pinkest Pet and Bedazzled Bra contest winners will be announced via the Come Walk With Me Facebook page on Wednesday, October 9) 
  • 10:40am - Final remarks

 

100 percent of funds raised for Come Walk With Me benefit breast health programs at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital.

By supporting Come Walk With Me, you are helping our community fund programs including:

  • Establishing a free/reduced fee mammography program through Her Piece of Mind
  • Providing resource kits for newly diagnosed patients
  • Post-surgical camisoles with built-in drainage, provided to patients at no cost
  • Complimentary wigs for patients in treatment
  • Prosthesis programs for under-insured patients
  • Presentations to various community groups on breast health
  • Lymphedema classes and support groups
  • Exercise and nutrition classes specifically for breast cancer patients
