Thank you for stopping by!
In 2018, our then 4 year old boy, Sutton collapsed in my arms and immediately became nonresponsive one night while getting ready for bed. We ended up staying in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital for 79 days where he spent most of his time there on a ventilator, unable to breathe on his own.
During his stay he received exceptional care by the doctors and nurses of Mary Bridge. Because of that care, we were able to take our little boy home. And it's because of their financial aid program, we were able to fight alongside of Sutton without having to worry about how we were going to pay for his next test/scan/treatment. Now it’s time for us to give back to the place that gave us back our son, so please join us in supporting other families like ours who end up in an unexpected situation that could be financially crippling.
More about Mary Bridge: Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital serves more than 250,000 children every year and depends on the generosity of the community to provide lifesaving care and services. About 65% of children served are on Medicaid – and even the best insurance has gaps in coverage. This fundraiser will ensure that all kids get the care and healing they need at Mary Bridge, regardless of ability to pay.
