Come Walk With Me has gone virtual!
For the wellbeing and safety of our community members, it won’t be possible for us to gather and walk as a group on our traditional first Saturday in October. But that won’t stop us from supporting the breast health programs and services that are so critically needed by local patients and survivors.
We’re asking Come Walk With Me participants to walk in their own ways and continue fundraising throughout the month of October. We also encourage you to share how you’re keeping the Pink Warrior spirit alive through social media. Follow us on Facebook.

We also have some fun and unique opportunities for you to participate in this year.

Here are some of the virtual challenges and competitions that will be held throughout October:

  • Paint Your Porch Pink competition – decorate your front porch in pink in honor of all our Pink Warriors
  • Pinkest Pet competition – dress your pet in their pinkest outfit
  • Bedazzled Bra competion – get crafty and create a work of art to display on social media
  • Be the top individual fundraiser OR the top fundraising team
  • Join in on a scavenger hunt throughout the month of October

Thank you for your continued support and understanding. To learn more about what you can do to keep yourself and others safe, visit

Yes! You can still create a team just as you would have for the in-person event. However, we do encourage participants to practice safe social distancing if you choose to walk with others.

There are no limits to where your feet can take you. Walk wherever you choose! Here are some ideas:

  • Your neighborhood
  • Your favorite hiking trail
  • A nearby community park

No need to track, other than documenting your walk with photos and videos if you would like to share your experience with us.

Follow us on Facebook and look out for posts asking you to share your pink spirit with us.

Your dedication is what keeps our event going year after year, and 2021 will be no different. We look forward to sharing your photos and stories with the Come Walk With Me community throughout October.

Registration is $25 for individuals and $15 for survivors. Your registration fee counts toward your overall fundraising. As always, all funds raised will support breast health programs and services at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Absolutely. We encourage all participants to continue their fundraising efforts as normal throughout the year. Fundraising will remain open until October 31.

There is no fundraising minimum for Come Walk With Me, but we encourage you to share your personal fundraising page with as many people as possible to help us reach our 2021 goal of raising $150,000 for local breast health programs and services.

Because  we are going virtual again this year, there are no formal roles for volunteers at this time. We hope to be in-person for 2022 and will have plenty of volunteer opportunities to offer then!

As our clinical teams bravely work to contain the spread of COVID-19, MultiCare has implemented a number of precautions across our facilities to keep patients and staff safe. This includes facilities that benefit from funds raised through Come Walk With Me, like the Good Samaritan Cancer Resource Center.

Since March 2020, wig fitting consultations have been offered to patients virtually, and patients who are in need of food and transportation are also being offered gas and grocery gift cards over the phone.

To learn more about these services, contact the Cancer Resource Center at 253-697-4899.
