After carefully exploring all other options over the past several years, we’ve made the difficult choice to discontinue the Courage fundraiser.
Since the first Courage ride 31 years ago, Rotarians, participants and donors have helped establish a $10 million endowment, keeping a community promise to achieve a sustaining source of funding for child abuse prevention and treatment programs in Pierce County.
We hope you find pride and comfort in knowing that, thanks to your gifts, a dedicated endowment will provide support in perpetuity to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Pierce County and Mary Bridge Children’s Child Abuse Intervention Department, helping children and their families seek justice and find healing.
Whether you’re an avid cyclist or not, many of you will remain committed to riding and fundraising for child abuse prevention and treatment programs at Mary Bridge Children’s. You can launch your own personal fundraising page through our Just Giving site. And you can learn more about other fundraising events at our events page. Mary Bridge Children’s remains devoted to helping families find health and healing regardless of their ability to pay, and we would love to continue to partner with you to do so.
